What is it?
Vinyasa means "to place in a special way.” Being in a certain pose is equally important as how we arrive there. Vinyasa yoga respects the intelligence of body movement, there is logic to the way we move. In this class we flow through yoga poses (asanas), seamlessly transitioning from one pose to another, preparing the body to open in certain ways and gradually “climbing” to a pick pose. This class is dynamic, it generates heat in the body which activates cardiovascular and lymphatic systems and promotes cleansing. The flow is initiated by the breath which connects every movement. The variable, dynamic nature of Vinyasa yoga class keeps the mind engaged and focused on the present moment - your body is active while your mind stays calm. This is a wonderful class for people who like dynamics and want to increase the endurance and body strength in a mindful way.
