About
CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN WITH YOGA! Monday, 31 October at 19:00 practice yoga dressed up in a Halloween costume to spooky tunes. The Halloween tradition originated from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would welcome in the harvest, light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts and usher in “the dark half of the year.” Just between the autumnal equinox and winter solstice, this day marked the end of harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter. During this dark time of the year, when days are the shortest and summer is faraway, the energy in the body is very low. We may feel apathetic, tired, worn down, anxious, even scared. Yoga can help to ignite inner fire and help to replenish the energy. Let’s do it together in a fun way and celebrate Halloween in yoga style!
